Community Groups & Churches

Deseronto has a variety of boards, clubs, organizations and committees.  If you are looking for ways to get involved in your community and meet new people, why not consider joining one or more of these great organizations.  You can volunteer as a member and/or volunteer to assist with specific projects & events of these organizations and committees. These community boards, organizations, and committees support and plan community programs and events, make community improvements, protect and preserve our community spaces, form community partnerships, and work to improve the overall quality of life in Deseronto.

The majority of the people that serve on these various organizations and committees are community volunteers.  Volunteers are the backbone of any community.  Without the participation of caring residents like yourself, these Deseronto organizations could not survive or continue to serve the community in the many ways they do.

If you are interested in joining a Deseronto organization, committee, etc., or require more information, please contact an organization member (contact information is provided below).  If contact information is not available, please call the Town Hall at 613-396-2440, and they will put you in touch with the appropriate person.  Maybe you are interested in attending a meeting or two to learn more about a particular organization, committee, etc., before you decide to join.  Most organizations and committees hold regular public meetings, excluding Deseronto Boards.  Members are elected to Deseronto Boards on an annual basis and consist of residents, elected representatives, and department employees.  If you are interested in becoming a member of a Deseronto Board, please contact the Town Hall at 613-396-2440 or deseronto@on.aibn.com

All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend all public meetings.  Community events and public meetings are posted on the Community Events Calendar located in the left column of the web site.  Check the calendar regularly for upcoming meetings and community events.
