Deseronto Garbage/Recycling Collection Reminders
- Garbage bags must be no heavier than 40lbs (approx. the weight of a 5 gallon Culligan jug)
- Your ‘Blue Box’ should not weigh more than thirty (30) lbs when full.
- Cardboard must be broken down to pieces no larger than:
36″ x 24″ x 8″
Collection schedules and information about acceptable items is available here or in person at the Town Hall (331 Main St.).
Please also note that the waste collection route will be adjusted starting this Friday, Sept 18th. The collection of waste/recyclables will start downtown as opposed to uptown so that garbage/recyclables are removed from high traffic areas first. As a result, your collection time will likely change depending on the location of your property. To ensure you don’t miss your pick up, be sure to have your garbage/recyclables to the curb by 7am the day of pick up.
