Emergency Preparedness
The Emergency Plan for the Town of Deseronto has been developed to reflect the public safety requirements of our community. Together we work to ensure that our community is prepared to respond to an emergency in the most effective manner possible. The Aim of this plan is to protect the health, safety, welfare and property of the citizens of Deseronto, from the effects of a natural, technological or human caused emergency. Deseronto updates its Emergency Response Plan on an annual basis, so that it reflects the procedures that would work best in managing any emergency arising in the Town of Deseronto.
An emergency means a situation or an impending situation caused by the forces of nature, an accident, an intentional act or otherwise that constitutes a danger of major proportions to life or property.
