The Deseronto Yacht Club was formed in 1948. The club is located on Deseronto’s Yacht Club Lane which provides a scenic viewing point of Deseronto and the Bay of Quinte. The yacht club holds regular meetings that usually occur the first Wednesday of each month. They offer boat launch, docking/storage facilities and charter services to members and the public. They also have a lounge and bar for their members, as well as many special events and fishing derbies throughout the year. The New members are welcome.

Paws 4 U is a group of animal lovers who are working through aggressive spaying and neutering in the community to significantly reduce and one day hopefully end the euthanasia of healthy adoptable animals at our local animal shelters and other animal organizations. They are allied with Fixed Fur Life in Belleville, ON and work in conjunction with the Quinte Veterinary Association, area shelters and other animal organizations to target those individuals with a limited income who would like to have their animals spayed and neutered but cannot afford the cost. Paws 4 U will also consider requests from pet owners with limited incomes to apply for support for veterinary expenses.
