The Public Works Department will be performing a fall curbside clean-up of leaves starting Monday, November 20th, 2023 until Thursday, November 23rd, 2023.
All leaves must be RAKED TO THE CURB or IN PAPER BAGS no later than Sunday, November 19th, as the Town staff will only be collecting in each area once.
This is for LEAVES ONLY; no other materials will be picked up at this time.

There will be FREE soft drinks and BBQ hot dogs served at the Arctic Gardens site for residents of Deseronto from 11:30am – 1:00 pm on May 27, 2023.
Members of Town Council will be there to greet and serve you!

As of Friday, July 16, 2021, all garbage bags will require bag tags.
Tags can be purchased for $3.00 each from the Town Hall and participating Deseronto convenience/grocery stores.

Garbage Bag Tag Price Increase - Effective August 17, 2020.

The 2020 Recycling and Waste Schedule is available for download.
Waste Connections of Canada provides waste/recycling collection services for the Town of Deseronto. The Garbage/Recycling curbside pick-up is Fridays. Bag tags can be purchased at the Town Hall or various other participating locations in Town.

The Town reminds residents that all recycling and waste must out at the curb by 7:00 am to ensure pick up.
Waste must be tagged in bags or cans for pick-up. One full tag must be visible for pick up of each bag or can. Bag tags can be purchased at the Town Hall or various other participating locations in Town.
Recycling items must be in a recycling container, with either paper products; or cans and plastic as per the schedule for pick up.
