The Town of Deseronto wishes to remind residents that garbage and recycling is not being picked up Christmas Day, Friday December 25th. 2020 or January 1, 2021 New Year’s Day.

During the current lockdown - at this point until January 23, 2021 each household can put out one (1) free untagged bag of garbage.
Garbage Bag Tag Price Increase - Effective August 17, 2020.
Effective Monday August 17th, 2020, the price of bag tags in the Town of Deseronto will increase to $3.00 per tag.
Reminder - All Bags of Garbage require a Bag Tag.

Recycling and Waste Reminders
Waste Connections of Canada provides waste/recycling collection services for the Town of Deseronto. The Garbage/Recycling curbside pick-up is Fridays.
The Town reminds residents that all recycling and waste must out at the curb by 7:00 am to ensure pick up.
Waste must be tagged in bags or cans for pick-up. One full tag must be visible for pick up of each bag or can. Bag tags can be purchased at the Town Hall or various other participating locations in Town.
Recycling items must be in a recycling container, with either paper products; or cans and plastic as per the schedule for pick up.
