Due to the ongoing restructuring of our operations and upcoming renovations of the Community and Fitness Centre, the Fitness Centre will not be opening at this time. We appreciate your patience, and our goal is to resume services when possible, with a more improved product for our community to enjoy. Please watch for details while this situation progresses or call the Town Hall for further information.
Due to the ongoing restrictions this year, the Town will not be conducting Canada Day celebrations for 2021. We have however, budgeted for a firework display and a celebration, which we hope to hold later in the year, once larger gatherings are permitted. We are looking forward to getting together as a community and will keep everyone posted as to when we will be able to accommodate.
The Town is currently going through various stages of restructuring. Please note over the next few months you will notice the Town Hall will be undergoing renovations. The Town Hall will be receiving some upgrades to include improved traffic flow and ventilation of our building.
In addition, we are currently looking for a new Town Manager and various other positions within our organization. These positions are key to our operation and we plan on filling them over the next few months and will keep you informed of the progress. In the interim, Deputy Clerk Gail Maracle and Deputy Treasurer Mora Nicholls have taken acting roles to help provide services to you.
